1900 ALASKA CENSUS

 

ARTHUR PUTMAN  Douglas, Southern District

He is 29 IL IL IL and lists Montesano Washington as his home. He is up here as a musician with a couple of other ones. I think he is a son of Jeremiah Putman and Catherine Baird from Brown County Illinois. His folks are in Montesano right now. In 1880 he was listed as Archie but it was probably Artie. Southern Putman family.

 

 

1910 ALASKA CENSUS

 

MRS. J. W. PUTNAM  Skagaway, Division 1

She is 47 CAN ENG ENG and widowed. She lives with her daughter Leona Sullivan 27 UT CT CAN and her husband John T. 33 MO MO IRE.

 

I. (IRA) C. PUTNAM  Kenai, Division 3

He is 67 NY NY NY and boarding. The occupation looks like barrister. Looks to be the son of Wilson Putman and Elizabeth Cooper from Amsterdam New York. He was listed as Ira 7 NY there in 1850. Dutch family from Montgomery County New York.

 

WILLIAM R. PUTMAN  Prince William Sound, Division 3

He is 22 CA CAN CA single and boarding. He runs a store here.

 

HENRY PUTTMAN  Fort Gibson, Division 4

No age given and the entry states he is in a camp 75 miles away. Big help here.
