He is 22 ONT born Sep 11, 1868. His wife Olive Spencer is 22 born Jul 4, 1868. Eben John is a son of Dallas Eben Putman and his first wife Mary Affie. He and Olive were just married in Hastings February 3, 1891. She was a daughter of Samuel Spencer. They are here in 1910. I don’t know what happened later, but in 1911 Olive will be married to Edward Robinson. She will have a son Samuel Putman born in 1902 with her. I don’t find Eben in 1911.

I don’t find him after this, but his death certificate here in Welland states he died a widower on May 28, 1924. There is a death certificate for Phoebe Jane in Welland. She died of a cerebral hemorrhage at age 63 on April 30, 1914. He died at age 80 of ‘senile decay’ after a fall 6 days earlier. Interesting though he says his father was Francis Putman and his mother was Harriet Crosby. Also there is a death certificate here that Mary Putman age 23 died of consumption here on February 20, 1891. I would assume she was married to Hamilton’s son Pelick. At that time he said he was born in America. He is Henry Lester Putnam a son of Lester Norval Putnam and Jane Meredith from Kingston, Ontario. He was born July 24, 1855 while the family was in Chicago or possibly in Ontario before they went to Chicago. His folks split up in the 1860s. They were in Montreal in 1881 and are in Westmount, Hochelaga District with kids in 1891 and 1901, then in Jacques-Cartier, Quebec in 1911.
