He is a farmer 27 USA, his wife Anna 26 ONT and they have Lillian 4 ALB and Laura 2 ALB.
NOWLIN PUTNAM Edmonton East, Alberta
He is 18 US single and working on a farm.
WORTHY PUTNAM Edmonton East, Alberta
He is 27 USA and his wife Marjorie Louise Waters is 17 ENG and his brother Dale 24 USA is here too. He is Albert Worthy Putnam a son of Albert Edward Putnam and Emmaline May Babcock. He was born in Hayes County Nebraska. He was with his folks in Sturgeon Alberta in 1901 and 1906. He just married Marjorie here on September 27, 1915. His brother Benjamin Dale will marry Hazel Rhinehart here February 4, 1931. New England line.
LORING PUTNAM Blairmore, Macleod, Alberta
He is 32 NS and his wife Annie 26 NS. He is a barrister. He is a son of Captain William Putnam and his second wife Elizabeth Jane Carr from Maitland, Hants Nova Scotia. He was born there in 1886 and will die here in Calgary, Alberta in 1924.
NANNIE PUTNAM Millarville, Macleod, Alberta
She is a housekeeper/servant 32 USA and has her daughter Lakie 11 USA with her.
PHILEAS PUTNAM Macleod, Alberta
He is a farmer 56 US and his wife Caroline 54 US. They came up here in 1912. Beats me.
He is 51 NS and his wife Nita Coates is 35 NS and her brother Laurie Coates is 35 NS. He has a cattle ranch. Laurie is a salesman in a clothing store. He is a son of Robert Putnam and Elizabeth Sprout from Middle Stewiacke Nova Scotia. He was born in Nova Scotia August 2, 1864. He’ll die in 1926.
WILLIAM M. (MURRAY) PUTNAM Medicine Hat, Alberta
He is a farmer 39 NS and his wife Ida Jean King is 41 NS. They now have Robert M. 10 ALB, James M. 8 ALB, Jean S. 6 ALB, Betty G. 4 ALB and Norman F. 6/12 ALB. He too is a son of Robert Putnam and Elizabeth Sprout from Middle Stewiacke Nova Scotia. He was born in Nova Scotia and die out here in Alberta August 15, 1938. He married Ida December 29, 1905 in Nova Scotia. She will die in Victoria, British Columbia in June 1957.
He is 81 ENG, his wife Eliza Rebecca is 75 ENG and their son Edward is 34 ENG. They came over in 1904 from England. He is a farmer. I don’t find them in the 1911 census.
ORLEAN PUTNAM Bentley, Red Deer, Alberta
He is a Porter 57 US and single. He came up in 1899. He is a son of Ira J. Putnam and Rosanna Longnecker, and was born January 1, 1863 in Jefferson, Cass County Michigan. He was in Lacombe Alberta in 1901 and Stratcona Alberta in 1906, as was his dad Ira. J. Putnam. He was home in 1870 in Michigan, then single in Knox County Illinois in 1880. In 1884 he married Nellie Henderson there March 11, 1884 and they had six children most in Nebraska and one in Texas in 1895. They were divorced in the late 1890s. Nellie and the kids are there now and she will be through the 1930. Orlean will die in 1946.
He is 50 USA and his wife Alice is 40 USA. He is a cigar maker. They just immigrated here in 1916. He is a son of Elijah Brown Putnam and Lucy M. Fuller of Sutton. He was born there June 1, 1866. He married Leonora Johnson November 21, 1888, then Jennie Eaton in 1892 and Alice around 1914 or 1915. He and Alice are back in Sutton in 1920 and 1930. He will be till he dies in 1942.
WALLACE PUTNAM Strathcona, Alberta
He is 62 US, his wife Florence 28 US, and they have Wallace 12 US, Joy Aris 10 US, Wallace R. 8 US and Allen E. 7 ALB. He is a son of Levi and Isa Putnam from New Hampshire. He was at home with his folks in 1860 and 1870 in Waushara County Wisconsin where he was born in 1855. He will be divorced and in Portland, Oregon living with his daughter in 1930.
ISABEL PUTNAM Springfield, Manitoba
She is 65 NS and widowed. She lives with her married daughter Agnes Macdougall 42 NS and husband Everett Macdougall 55 NS and their six kids. Also here is her daughter Lillian Putnam 34 NS, and sons William 27 NS and John 24 NS. Isabelle Blair was married to Stephen Putnam in Maitland, Hants. He died there January 11, 1902. Isabelle came out here with her other daughter Lillian and will be out here till she dies November 16, 1860. The sons Earle and George Macdonald and William and John Putnam are all soldiers probably getting ready to head overseas.
EASLEY PUTMAN Winnipeg Center, Manitoba
He is 38 Nova Scotia, his wife Edna 25 NS. I think he is a Patman. Can’t find earlier.
JOHN H. (HUNTER) PUTMAN Souris, Manitoba
He is 58 Nova Scotia, his wife Janet 57 ONT and they have at home Anna 31 MAN, Robert Hunter 27 MAN, Emma May 21 ONT?, Maggie 18 MAN, Janet B. 15 MAN and George P. 12 MAN. He is a farmer. They were all in Riverside, Lisgar Alberta in 1901 and here in 1906 and still in 1916.
He is 30 USA, his wife Grace 25 USA and they have Lloyd 3 SASK and Mayme 9/12 SASK. He is a farmer. He is a son of George Putnam and Emma Lukehart from Marshall County Iowa. He was home there in 1900 and 1910 and here in Humbolt in 1911, and is back there with Grace in 1920.
He is 56 USA, married a boarding with a Chinese Family. He came up here in 1911. Hard to read, but think he is a minister.
She is 21 ONT single and boarding.
He is 39, his wife Mary Ellen 40 and Mary 6 all born in England they say. He is a drayman. He came here in 1913
He is 28 born in Nova Scotia and single. He is a son of Arthur Putnam and Elizabeth Jane Lightbody and was born in Colchester, Nova Scotia August 4, 1887.
THOMAS PUTMAN Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
He is listed as 51 ONT and boarding. He says he is married, but he is in a rooming house with a zillion other guys. He was here in 1911 as well.
He is 67 born in USA. He is single and boarding. He is a laborer. He was listed as Jas. Putman and was married in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan in 1906. He says he came here in 1903 and became a citizen in 1909. He looks like James Carriel Putnam, a son of Nathan Carriel Putnam and Rachel McMillian from Oneida County, New York. He was home there in 1850 and 1860 and then with his father in Tippecanoe, Indiana in 1880.
