Gladys by the way will be at home widowed in 1930. This is the Southern family
that was just late comers as best I can figure. I can only get them back to

Thomas Putnam and Sarah Margaret Hensley. He was born March 26, 1883 in
Spencer, McCook County South Dakota, and has been here in Cowley County since
the 1890s. Dutch family originally from New York. Now, a bit of confusion. I
have been listing his wife as Beadie Fredericks and
she always says she was born in Kansas. But I have found 6 family group sheets
(all based on same one though it looks like) that say she is Beadie Smith Born June 22, 1883 in Boone County Indiana and
died in Burbank, Los Angeles County California October 11, 1965. It also say
Fred died there November 24, 1966. Her age jibes and the kids listed on the
sheet are same as the ones here in the censuses. So I am not really certain
what her name is, but she was born in Kansas and not in Indiana.
