he dies October 29, 1968. Maria was born in Fort Fairfield October 18, 1890. I
assume this is a screwed up entry as Maria will die here in Houlton February
10, 1969. The age of Myra is exactly that of Maria and I assume they are
actually one and the same.
He is

He is

general merchant. His wife Almeda Hussey is 45 ME. He
is a son of Willard Putnam and Mary Ward from here. His sons Willard and Floyd
live either on the same property or in the same house. Walter was born in 1887.
Almeda is a daughter of Benjamin Hussey and Vesta Hall. She was born in December 1884 and will die here

He is
22 ME ME ME and a farm
laborer. His wife Verna Adams is 22 ME. His brother Floyd lives with him but
I’ll give him a separate listing. They are sons of Walter and Almeda Putnam and live on the same property. Willard was
born February 27, 1908 and will die here in Houlton in October 1975. Willard
and Verna were married here August 4, 1926. There is another marriage record
where Willard married Norah Wilson here December 7, 1946, and another for Norah
Lyons on the same date. One would be her maiden name, the other from a previous
marriage. Based on her grave, Nora was born December 11, 1918 and died in
Houlton June 15, 1999. Then I guess he had a son Willard H. who married Beth
Drake July 29, 1978 and later Julie Ray Clark on June 8, 1991. In that last
record the middle name was Houlton so that is probably the middle name of
Willard Senior here. Fun to find these records.
He is
26 ME ME ME and owns his
farm. His wife Gladys M. Mullen is 22 ME and they have Charles Jr. 3 5/12 ME
and Joseph 1 ME. Charles Royce Putnam is a son of Samuel Putnam and Vesta Erskine from here. Charles was born here March 29,
1904 and will die in Presque Isle, Maine May 26, 1976. He and Gladys were
married here October 22, 1925. She is a daughter of Joseph Edwin Mullen and
Ella Mae Kearney and was born in Presque Isle July 18, 1908 and will die in
Caribou in August 1980. An obituary of her son Joseph states her name was
Gladys Bushey, so she may have been married before
she married Charlie. No firm ideas at all here. Now, something like divorce
will take place as Charlie will later marry Bernice Hazel Knights who was
