CENSUS RECORDS

UPDATED JANUARY 4, 2009

MASSACHUSETTS 1850 CENSUS

This is the first census that lists the folks by name, age, and the state they were born in. Not always that easy to identify them, but now we know the characters. This listing will be by county. Once again, if possible, I will give the number that Eben Putnam assigned. This census was pretty much put together by Rand Putnam of California, who sorted it out and assigned the numbers where possible. Many thanks, Rand.
