widow. The children are: Hannah 28 NY,
John 27 NY, Lavina 22 MI, Lucy 19 MI, Mary 15 MI, Eliza 11 MI, and Eva 8 MI. There is a Maria Putman, 82 NY, in the household
also. Maria would be Simeon's mother Alida. It gets a
bit confusing when you also look at the upcoming listing for Maria here in
Bowne. Look at that listing too.
MARIA PUTMAN Bowne Township, Kent County
Sort of a duplicate listing for the Hanna listed above.
This is Hannah Maria, Simeon's widow. She is 47 KY, Mary 16 MI, Eva 8 MI. There are more

Maria 82 NY who was Simeon's mom (I believe).

you want to know. He is also properly listed in my Montana section at this time.

In 1860 they were in Scotia, Shiawassee County. Louis was listed Lorin at that time.
JOHN PUTMAN Iosco, Livingston County

was here in 1860 listed as Elizabeth 6 NY. Harriet is probably her mom, but have no clue as to Harriet’s husband. John (above) didn’t

will be in Fulton County Ohio in 1880 and then back here in Michigan in Eaton

dad was Melvin Stewart, so I am not sure what her name is. I would guess she

He is 35 MI, Phebe Ward,
his wife, 34 MI.
There is a marriage record that they were married October 4, 1865. Problem is I have no
good ideas as to who he is. Based on the proximity to the following Frank, he
may be his brother. The ages are slightly off, but in 1850 there was a Henry
and Belinda Putman from Canada in Wayne County.
They had a son James who was 8 years older than his son Frank. This is roughly
the spread between these two here in Oakland County.
