42 MI NY NY and an architect. He isn’t in the Army,
just a Government worker I guess. He is a son of Henry Putnam and Sarah
Sanderson from Oakland County Michigan. He was there in 1860. His dad was a son
of Charles Putnam (986) from Oneida County New York.
He is
19 NH and a Corporal in the Army. His home is Haverhill Massachusetts. He was
born in Lisbon, Grafton County New Hampshire. His folks were Milon G. Putnam and Jennie L. Welch from there. Milon’s folks were John C. Putnam and Mehitable
Jane Weston from Lisbon. He will be married in Quincy Massachusetts in 1910
through 1930 at least.
He is
22 OH and a Private. Can’t find him under that name in 1880, but there is a
Clarence Pitman age 1 OH listed as a son of Ross Pitman in German Township, Darke County Ohio. Interesting there was a fairly large
Dutch Putman family in German Township, but I don’t have anyone named Ross
there.

listing. He is listed here as 21 OH and a Private.

25 WI WI IA and a Private. He lists his home as
Pecatonica, (Winnebago County) Illinois. He looks like William Bird Putnam as
shown in 1880 in Lafayette County Wisconsin. He was listed as a stepson of John
and Hattie Waters. In 1900 there are several Waters families in Pecatonica,
Illinois. None were his mom, but I’ll bet that’s who he is.

He lives in Owego (Tioga County) New York and was born there. He is a son of
Frederick and Annie Putman. Dutch family originally from Montgomery County New
York.

28 NY and a Private. He says his home is Rural Grove New York. He is a son of
Henry Putman and Asenath Ostakout
from Rural Grove in Montgomery County New York. He was home there in 1880.

32 WI and a Sergeant. He was born in Whitewater, Wisconsin. He is a son of John
A. and Carrie Putman from there. In 1870 they were in Linn County Iowa and up
in Saginaw Michigan in 1880. Dutch family from Montgomery County New York.

as a farrier whatever that is. Again looks like just
a Government employee. He is a son of Levy Houlton Putnam and Sarah Bradbury
from Houlton Maine. He was there in 1860 and onwards.

Brooklyn New York.

looks to be the son of George W. and Myra Putnam from Worcester, Massachusetts.

years Myrtle M. Harris is 32 MA, and Melville H. 10 WA. He is a son of Henry
Locke Putnam (2405) of Medford, Massachusetts. He was stationed at Fort Casey
in Washington State in 1900.

is in the Quartermasters Department. He looks like the son of Arthur and Eliza
Putnam from Sullivan, Madison County New York.

32 WI NY US a sailor in the Navy. He is a son of Albert E. Putnam and Missouri
Belle Stephens. He was at home in DeKalb County
Missouri in 1880. His dad Albert was a son of Daniel Porter Putnam (2142) from
Willsboro, Essex County New York and Vermont before that. Daniel was in Palo
Pinto County Texas in 1900 and will and will be in
San Francisco California still single in 1920 and then married to Edna Benson
in Portland Oregon by 1930.
CHARLES T. PUTNAM New York, New York
The
listing is very hard to read. He is 22 MA MA MA and a sailor on the U. S. S. Broome. He lives in Malden
Massachusetts.
He is
43 NJ NY OH. His wife Charlotte Ives is 43 PA and their daughter Doanda Risley is 11 NY. He is the
U. S. Consulate here. They were here in Hood River County Oregon in 1910. He is
a son of John Risley Putnam and Mary Shoemaker from
Saratoga Springs New York. His dad was a Justice of the New York State Supreme
Court for years.
He is
22 GA US US and a seaman on the U. S. S. Olympia. He
is a son of Willie Wood Putman and his second wife Rhonda Vianna
Holcomb from Gordon County, Georgia. This is the family that just popped up
after the Civil War. Think they were New Englanders, but no clues at all yet.
He is
18 VA MD VA and a seaman in the U. S. Navy. He is a son of William Augustus
Putman and Clara Green from Staunton, Virginia. He will be back there by 1930
driving a delivery truck for a biscuit company along with his brothers William
and Carnot.
CECIL ALFRED PUTNAM Camp Lee, Prince George, Virginia
He is
21 CAN NY CAN and a corporal in the Army. He is a son of Robert Putnam and
Margaret Pratt and was born in Hanover, Ontario Canada September 12, 1898. His
dad died and his mother married James Forsythe and they were all in Lockport,
Will County Illinois in 1900. I don’t find him in 1910 but in 1930 he will be
married and in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He is
22 VA VA VA and gives
Staunton Virginia as his home. He is a seaman on the U. S. S. Seattle. He is a
son of William Augustus Putman and Clara Green and was born in Staunton,
Augusta County Virginia. Southern Putman family out of Fauquier County
Virginia.
He is
18 NY NY NY and is an
apprentice seaman. He is stationed on the U. S. S. Arizona. He lives in Attica
New York. Think he is a son of Harvey Alonzo Putnam from there.
He is a
black man 19 GA and is a cook on the U. S. S. Solace docked here.

22 NY. The page won’t come up, but I know who he is. He is a son of Peter and
Maud Putman from Canada. The family was in Niagara Falls New York in 1900. The
folks got a divorce and Curtis went back to Canada with his mother before 1910.
His dad was still there in 1910. Dutch family out of New York originally.

20 NH MA MA and his home address is Kennebunk Maine.
He is an apprentice first class. He is a son of Frederick Brooks Putnam and was
born in Hillsborough County New Hampshire. The family was back in Worcester
Massachusetts before 1910.

in the Marine Corps. He lists Houston Texas as his home. He is a son of James
Henry Putnam Jr. from Vermillion Parish Louisiana. The family was there in 1900
and they were all in Houston in 1910 and are there now. He is a great grandson
of James Mercier Putnam. The family was originally from Massachusetts.

New York in 1910.

He is a private in the U. S. Army. He is a son of Chester Curtis Putnam from
Champaign County Illinois. The family was there for ages and in Colorado
Springs by 1910. Howard is listed there at home then. New England Family.

20 IL IL IL and a corporal
in the Army. He lists Chicago as his home address. He would be a son of Walter
Putnam and Alice Adams. He was born in Champaign Illinois in February 1899.
Then the family was in Cass County Michigan by 1910. Family was from Ohio
before that. I guess a New England line, but not at all sure.
He is
24 MA MA MA and a 1st
Lieutenant in the Army. He lists Denver, Colorado as his home. He was living
there in 1917 when he filed a draft registration card. He is a son of Webster
Fletcher Putnam and Helen Meldram from Danvers Mass.
He was at home there in 1900 and 1910. He’ll be making a career out of this and
be in Coral Gables, Florida in 1930 and 1935 with a wife from Belgium and some
kids born here in Germany.
He is
23 NE US US and a sailor on the U. S. S. Doyers. He should be the son of Willis Emory Putman and
Susannah Day Mauger from Omaha Nebraska. They were
there in 1900 and then moved to Council Bluffs Iowa where Willis died in 1909.
He will be married shortly if not now and he and Thelma will be in San Diego in
1930 and he will be a Chief Boatswain’s mate then.
He is
19 MN IL MN and an able bodied Seaman. He gives Eagle Bend Minnesota as his
home. He is a son of Frank P. Putnam from Eagle Bend, Todd County. He was shown
there in 1910 and also now in 1920. He will marry Marie C. Richards about 1927
and be here in Panama in 1930 with 2 kinds.
