son of Douw Putman and Margaret Weller and was born here in Amsterdam in 1859.
That family hasnÕt been listed since 1870. I know they were around as Margaret
died here in 1881 and Douw in 1899.

Gilbert E. 3/12 NY. Her widowed mother Sarah Steager 49 NY is with them. They
are in Schenectady in 1920. He was born in Wisconsin in 1881 so not sure of
folks. In 1900 he was in Brownville, Jefferson County and listed as a stepson
of Edward Mullin and Effie V. Mullin who would probably be his mom or more
likely stepmother. I still guess that he was a son of John P. Putnam and his
second wife Ida Rich from Auburn, Chippewa County Wisconsin. They were there in
1880 and he was born in 1881. I guess Ida died or something and he married
Effie and then he died and she and the kids came back to New York where she was
from.
He is
55 (should be 50) NY NY NY and is living in a hotel. He states he is married,

This
one is a real Putman. He is 30 but should be 25 NY NY NY. He has his sisters
Hattie 36 NY, Maggie 32 NY and Sadie or Sarah 26 NY with him. Hattie is listed
as widowed as she was married to Charles Cox. They are all kids of Abram Putman
and Catherine Lothridge from Charlestown in 1880 and here by 1900. Abraham or
Abram died here in 1906, and Catherine a month ago in February 1910. Cady will
head to Wyoming and marry Myrtle Taylor there in 1928.
