He was married to Joanna Hart in Fulton County in 1900 and 1920 and then in 1920 she was still there with all the kids and said she is widowed. It looked like Frank and Mina were recently married. She is 82 ENG, her widowed daughter Louise Sheppard 62 ENG and I guess her daughter’s mother in law Samantha Sheppard 82 CAN. In 1900 She and Louise and her husband Samuel Sheppard were here. Then She was in De Witt Onondaga County in 1910 and back here with Louise and Sam in 1920. Since I don’t find her before 1900, I have no idea who her husband was except he was from England.
She is 36 NY and living with her married sister Mary Kappel and her husband Peter Kappel. She was married to George W. Putman here in 1930. She says she is still married, but I do not find him in the County now in 1930.
She is 30 NY NY NY single and a saleslady for a book concern. She looks like the daughter of Harvey Putnam from Whitestown, Oneida County. She is there now but is age 24. But in that listing both she and her dad are book dealers, so must be her over here on business.
He is indexed as a Putnam, but no one like him was ever here. He is 47 NY NY NY, Viola 42 NY and her Mother Elizabeth Carruthers is 72 NY for what it’s worth. Probably a Pitman of which there are many.

Spencer is 16 and Robert 14 NY NY NY. They are listed as grandsons of John and Jennie Pease. The kids are sons of George Edward Putnam and his first wife (a Pease). They were with him in Seneca with his second wife May Rorick. Their folks are now over in Seneca County, but I guess they didn’t care for their stepmother. George was a son of Charles Spencer and Gertrude Putnam and was born here in Ontario County, as was his dad. New England Family.
He is 31 PA PA PA and drives truck for a bakery. His wife Esther is 29 NY. They have been married 2 years, but she was married before and has Francis Palmer 11 and Virginia 9 NY NY NY who are listed as stepchildren. In 1900 he was in Rome, Crawford County Pennsylvania and listed as a grandson of William Fish. By 1910 he is with his parents Jay and Addie Putnam there. There was a 5 year gap to the next kid, so I assume Addie was a second wife. Same in 1920 in Centerville, Crawford County. New England Family.
He is a retail merchant 51 NY NY NY. His wife Jessie is 53 NY, Edmund Jr. 18 NY, and Jean 16 NY. I find them in New Jersey in 1910 listed as Edwin H. and Jessie married 2 years. But I can’t find him earlier under either spelling. I tried searching the County for Edmunds and Jessies in 1920, and couldn’t find one that worked. There is a marriage record of Edmund H. Putman and Edna Hand here in 1828. That would be the son Edmund I guess. Very Confusing.
She is 87 CAN and widowed. She lives with her married daughter Ada 58 NY and husband John Hutchinson 63 NY. She is Julia Etta Wickwire widow of George Putnam from here in Seneca.
