Anderson County
He is 27 CAN and a hired hand. He was in Pelham Niagara County Canada in 1901. He will be back up there to get married in 1914. In that marriage license he states his parents were John Putman and Mary Overholt and he was born in Welland County, Ontario. I can’t find those folks now or in 1901. But I have John and Mary’s marriage license of October 1, 1885 and John Says his folks were James and Mary Jane Putman from Gainsborough, Monck. Don’t know the line, but New York Dutch family in any case.
WILLIAM H. PUTNAM
Anderson County
He is 40 AR (but is 46 AR in 1920). Tessie Curran his wife is 30 TX (and only 35 in 1920). They have a daughter Willie May 6 TX and a son Kyle 5 TX. He is a son of William Lester Putman from Benton County, Arkansas. He was in Kaufman County and single in 1900, and will still be here in 1920.
CARROLL PUTMAN
Justice, Andrews County
He is Joseph Carroll Putman 22 TX living by himself and working on a farm. He is a son of Joseph Barnet Putman and was at home in Caldwell County in 1900. He will be with his sister in Caldwell County in 1920.
WILLIS PUTMAN
Angelina County
He is actually William Ernest Putnam. He is the son of Ansil Putnam from Maine who was here in 1900 and has since died. He was listed as William E. in 1900. He is now 20 MS (born in Vicksburg according to the WWI draft registration) and a lodger. By 1920 and 1930 he will be here and will have a wife and kids

PUTMAN Baylor County
He is 26 TX and living with William Berry. He is Owen's son from Hamilton County. In 1920 he will be married to Maude Stewart and be in Jack County, Texas. Owen is a son of Stephen Carlos Putnam from LaSalle County, Illinois and New Hampshire before that. New Englander.
ALICE PUTNAM
San Antonio, Bexar County
She is a daughter of William and Adeline Putman of Gonzales and Kendall County. She is a nurse, 49 TX and boarding. In 1920 she will still be here, and living alone at age 58. She never married, just worked here in San Antonio as a nurse.
HARRIET C. PUTNAM
Bexar County
She is 23 MO and her daughter Drewry is 2 OK. She lives with her parents John E. Cockerell 57 IL and Grace E. 40 VA and that family. She is Harriet Cockerell the wife of Israel Mercer Putnam. She is just visiting her folks as she and her daughter are currently listed with Israel in Oklahoma City.
JOHN E. PUTNAM
San Antonio, Bexar County
He was here in San Antonio in 1900. He is now 49 GA ME AL, Helen Beissner 38 TX and they have John E. Jr. 15, Helen C. 11, Drucilla 9, Alice 7, Dana a son 5 and Julia 2. All the children are TX. He is a city Fireman. He is a son of Dana Boardman Putnam and Huldah Manley. His dad is from Maine, but was in Troup County Georgia in 1860 and that’s where John was born. He went back to Boston with his dad and was there in 1880. They are here through the 1930.

San Antonio, Bexar County
This is Pomp Wellington Putman, son of David Alexander. He is 35 AR, Agnes Christian 29 TX, Melba 5, and twins Harold and Hay (Hal in 1920) 1. They will be here in San Antonio in 1920. The marriage records state he married Agnes Kate Christian in 1902. In 1920 her mother Kate Pickard is with them, so I guess her mom remarried.
GEORGE PUTNAM
Bosque County
He is 28 AL, Margie 26, Roy 6 OK. He is George Washington Putman, a son of George Washington and Dicy Sandlin Putman. He was born in Blount County, Alabama and was with his grandfather back in 1900. He will be in Johnson County in 1920.
BETTIE PUTMAN
Brown County
She is 54 TN and listed as the mother in law of Robert E. Owen and her daughter Mollie M. 30 TX. She is the widow(?) of William Jacob Putman of Georgia. They were in Tarrant County in 1880 and in Eastland County in 1900. I don't find either William here in Texas, and guess that he has died since 1900, but am not certain. Their sons Charles and Bruce are in Coleman County. In 1920, Bettie Ann will be 70 and living with her son Charles in Coleman County.
J. B. (JOSEPH BARNET) PUTNAM Caldwell County
Tom Rogers Putnam's son is 53 TX and widowed. His first wife Julia McGinnis died February 14, 1907. At home are Ginnie is 40, Viola 18, Gussie 15, James Pledger 12 and Simeon Sommers 8. All born TX. He will marry Virginia Smith in 1911, and they are in Throckmorton County in 1920 and will be till he dies there in 1924.
LELIA PUTNAM
Caldwell County
She is 23 TX and the sister in law of T. B. Copewood. She is a daughter of Joseph Barnet Putnam of this county. Her sister Eva married Dr. Copewood. Lelia will be heading off to Brazil soon where she will work as a Methodist Missionary for a number of years
ANDREW M. PUTMAN
Cass County
He is Andrew Madison, a son of John and Cerina from Marion County, Alabama. He is 39 AL, (in 1920 it states TX). Lillie Viola Boyd is 39 MO, Buna 2 TX, Cecil 5 months TX. They will be in Morris County in 1920. Also there are two stepchildren, Cara V. 15 and Lettes (?) a male 11. These last two will be gone by 1920. Now for the rest of the story. Viola Boyd married Thomas J. Putman of Cooke County (see 1900) and he died. She then married Andy here in Cass County on September 28, 1905 and was listed on the certificate as Mrs. Viola Putman.
MONROE PUTNAM
Cherokee County
He is listed as 35 TX (should be 43-45) and Lenora is 21 TX. He would be a son of Hillen Putman from this county. He was listed in 1880 here, was missing in 1900, but appears again now. His dad is from South Carolina. Lenora is his second wife. He was widowed here in 1900.
SALLIE PUTNAM

She is Sarah Ann Waggoner, the widow of Hillen Putman from South Carolina. She is 73 TX and living with her son in law George McWilliams.
NINA PUTMAN
Coleman (?) County
She is 51 TN and a sister in law of David McMahan. In 1900, an Erin Putman, then 22, was living with a Mary McMahan as a daughter. Must be a connection, but I have no clue.
BRUCE PUTMAN
Coleman County
He is a son of William J. Putman from Eastland County. He is 28 TX and living with his brother Charlie. Dad has died, mom (Bettie Ann) is living in Brown County with her daughter Molly. He’ll be with his widowed mom in 1920 and then e married and in Los Angeles California in 1930.

Coleman County
He is a son of William J. Putman from Eastland County. He is 33 TX, Alice Emily Strickland 32 TX, Willie D. (Dalton) 7, Edgar L. 5, Bessie M. 3, Charlie Jr. 1 all TX. His brother Bruce 28 TX is there as well. They are here in 1920.

In 1900 she was listed with Mary McMahan as a daughter. Now she is boarding with a Luther Stewardson and in 1920 will be boarding with yet another guy. At any rate she is now 32 TX
ALICE PUTNAM
Collin County
This is Alice Crow, the widow of William Putman. She is 71 AL and living with her son James P. She will still be here in 1920 at age 84. Her husband died here in Copeville on August 22, 1905. Alice will die here in May 1921 at age 85. Both are buried here.

He is a son of Francis Putman of Cook County. He was here in 1900 and will be in 1920. He is from Jefferson County, Tennessee. He is 49 TN, Laura Bell Simmons, his wife, 44 TN, James Franklin 23, Nora 14, Jesse Grady 11, Winnie Leona 7 and Lonnie (Samuel Alonzo) 3 all born TX.

This is George Frank Putman, a son of Zedoc Putman from Limestone County, Alabama. He is 30 AL, Lula (Lula Mae Elders) 28 AL, Ella May 8, William 4, Roy 3 and Elmer 2. One source states the kids were born in AL, another shows nothing which means they were born in TX.

She is 35 TX and a daughter of Joe Allsup. She is the widow of Edward Hugh Putman, son of John Washington Putman from Llano County.

Berry is 61 GA and living with his son Thomas. Berry is a son of Thomas Putman and Lucinda Hurt from Georgia. He was born June 10, 1847 and married Savira Putman, a daughter of Elias Putman and Arletha Faith Libby, on December 8, 1867. She has died since 1900, and this is Berry’s last census appearance.

He is Commodore Putnam, a son of Francis M. Putman from Jefferson County, Tennessee. He was here with his folks in 1900 and will be in Love County, Oklahoma in 1920. He is 33 TN, Addie (Martha Addie Hampton) 26 TN, Ada 5 TX, Zada 4 TX, Brewel (listed Mull in 1920) a son 2 TX and Frank 1 TX.
E. (ELIAS) B. PUTMAN
Cooke County
Elias B. is a son of Elias from Hall County, Georgia. He is 57 GA, Leona (Leona B. Smith) is 31, they were just married in 1901 here. Kids are Eddie 7, Bailey 5, Lettie 3, Haskell almost 2. All the kids are TX. Elias will have one more son in 1916 and will have died before 1920.
JAMES M. PUTMAN
Cooke County
Simeon’s son is still here. He is 60 AL, Frances Melinda Majors is 50 AL, Simeon Howard 22 TX, Viola 20 TX, Pearl 16 TX and Fannie 13 TX. He was born in Alabama October 8, 1849, and will die here January 2, 1913. Frances was born September 9, 1859 in Alabama and will die here July 11, 1942.
JOHN W. (WESLEY) PUTNAM Cooke County
Although he is listed as 48 AR, he is really only 26 (verified in 1920). He is John Wesley Putman son of James and Melinda who live nearby and was born in Arkansas January 18, 1884. His wife Corrine is 25 TX. They will be here with a bunch of kids in 1920.
SIM F. (SIMEON FRANCIS) PUTMAN Cooke County
I went through all this back in 1900. He seems to be Howard Mercer's son Simeon F. He is age 56 AL TN AL. In 1900 he was widowed at age 47 AL with several kids. Now he has a wife Fannie L. 43 TX and a son Si H. 13 TX MO MO. This is the second marriage for both, and they have been married 6 years, so Silas is a son from her first marriage. In 1920, he will be here alone at age 67 AL. The Si H. is the S. B. married in Harris County in 1920. At any rate Sim is here alone in 1920 and has Lucy Frances back with him in 1930.

She is 63 and a daughter of Elias Putman from Georgia. She has been living with her brother Elias B. Putman, but is now listed as a servant in the household of Isaac Morris.

He is a son of Berry E. and Cerina Putman. He is 27, Rosetta 25, Melvin R. 5, Grace 4, Letta 2 all TX. His father Berry Economy age 61 GA is with them, Cerina or Carry must have died recently.

He is 44 IL, Kate 29 MS. He will be here widowed in 1920. He is a son of Henry G. and Eliza Putman who were Dutch folks from New York, and lived in Whiteside County, Illinois where Gus was born. His folks have been here a while.

He is 23 KY and living with Joseph Frey in Dallas. Bruce is a son of Rufus Putnam from Louisville, Kentucky and a grandson of George Washington Putnam from Ohio. New England stock originally.
JOHN I. PUTNAM
Dallas County
He is 38 IL, Lucille O. 23 TX, Rex A. (Augustus) 16 TX, Cecil D. 10 TX and Bertie G. 9 TX. I am pretty sure he is a son of Henry Gardner Putman and Esther Rice from Whiteside County Illinois. The family was here in 1900 and his brother Augustus is here in Dallas now. In 1900 he was in Kaufman County and his wife then was Glycine who would be 34 now. Lucille is a second and fairly recent wife. I do not find these folks here in 1920 but they are here in 1930. Rex is married here in 1920 and 1930 also.
LARKIN L. (LEROY) PUTMAN Dallas County
He is 30 TX NC TX, Bertha May 19 KY and Gilbert B. 4 months old TX. He was in Tyler County in 1900 and was just married to Ada Malone there. This is his second marriage and her first. They have been married 1 year. I can't find him in 1920, but he is here in 1930 and will be here till he dies in 1951. He is a son of John Putman and Sarah McCausland as shown in Shackleford County in 1880 and listed as Leroy.
He is listed 26 TN TN TN and married 1 year to Cora 28 MO. He is a paperhanger.

He is still here and alone at age 47 TX. He is a son of John and Elita Putman of Llano County. He was married to a Nettie and they seem to have divorced. She and his kids are in Bryan County, Oklahoma now.

He is 30 TX NC TX, Lula 26, Pearl A. 6, Ruby L. 4 and Opal 3 all TX. They will be in Titus County in 1920. He was with his widowed mother in Wood County Texas in 1880. All I know about his father is that he was born in North Carolina.

Elias Harrison is a son of William Riley Putman from Christian County, Kentucky. He is 48 KY, Eula 33 KY, Nell 9 AR, Harley 3 AR, Madeline 6 months TX. They were in Clay County, Arkansas in 1900 and will still be here in DeWitt County in 1920.
He is 35 TX GA LA and has been married 9 years to Allie 34 TX. They have James Albert 7 TX and Evelyn 5 TX. His brother William M. 23 TX GA LA is with them. They are here through 1930. He is a son of William A. and Lucy Ann Putman from Hopkins County Texas. He was there in 1880. His folks are here now too. William was a son of James Putman from Floyd County Georgia and a grandson of Ezekiel Putman from Georgia. They are here in 1920. His brother William is married here by then too.

Marcus is a son of Charles Putman from McNairy County, Tennessee. He was in Collin County, Texas in 1900, but will still be here in 1920. He is 30 TN, Carrie Brinson 27 TX, Leonard 10 TX, Guy 5 TX, Olla 4 TX and Ellie M. 1 TX.
He is 64 GA GA GA and has been married 39 years to Sarah Ellen Bellville 60 LA AL AL and they still have Lizzie Lou 18 TX. Also here is Mary E. Posey 78 TN TN TN and widowed. She is listed as mother in law, but must be Sarah’s stepmother or something. William is a son of James and Lucy Ann Putman from Floyd County Georgia and a grandson of Ezekiel Putman from Georgia

He is 35 MO, Anna M. 41 IL, Aramtia Faith 12 AR, Otto Sidney 8 AR, Alice Gertrude 6 TX, Abbie Jane 4 TX and Nelson A. 1 1/2 TX. He was in Stone County, Arkansas in 1900, and was one of the grand children listed as living with Jabel Putman in Oregon County, Missouri in 1880. He was a son of Jabel's son James who is listed just below. He will be here in 1920.

Precinct 5, Eastland County
This is Jabel (Jabez)'s son and an uncle of the above James D. Putnam. This James is now 65 TN, Rena Lintrap, his third wife, is 44 MO, Jesse 12 TX, David O. 11 TX, George A. 9 TX and Joseph A. 5 TX. I do not find them in 1920. Rena is widowed in Jones County in 1930.

El Paso County
Edith Mary Bishop is the widow of Arthur Burch Putnam who was from Jefferson County, New York. She is 35 IN and has Robert E. 15, Frances B. 14, Helen M. 12, Edith V. 11 and Henry C. 5 all born TX. The son Arthur who would be 10 now has died. Arthur worked for the U. S. Customs Service and died in an accident in 1908. Edith’s dad works for the railroad here in El Paso. Edith will move to Los Angeles in about 1912, and she and the kids will be there the rest of their lives. Edith never remarried.

He is listed here as L. W., but is our guy down from Fulton County, Illinois. He is 49 IL, his son Joseph Grover 15 TX. His mother Christine Boardner Putman 70 IL is with them.

She is Christine Boardner, the widow of Joseph Grover Putman. She is 70 IL and living with her son Charles. He is the grandfather of Rev. Bill Putman of Houston who has done so much research on our family.

Willie is now 24 TX, Ivy (Iva Munden) is 22 TX, Ruth Inez 2 TX and Joseph Clyde just was hatched.

He is William Henry Putman a son of Andrew and Rachel from Blount County, Alabama. He was home in 1900 in Alabama and will be in Scurry County, Texas in 1920 and Mitchell County in 1930. He is 22 AL, Florine is 19 AL and they have a daughter Ollie 1 TX.
JOSIAH GREEN PUTMAN
Erath County
He is listed Jasia, nice phonetic way of spelling Josiah. He is a son of Anson and Hester Putman. He is 52 and boarding. He was a traveling Methodist Preacher. He pops up all over the place in each census. His dad was a Methodist minister as well. Josiah was married to Martha Couts, but she died in the 1890s. He will die in Weathersfield, Texas on October 6, 1934. He will retire in 1915. In 1920 and 1930 he will be living with his daughter Roberta Sweatt in Limestone County, Texas.
CIDNEY (SIDNEY) PUTMAN
Falls County
He lives by himself at age 70 VA. Must not be a Putman, don't ever find him before.
HENRY PUTMAN
Fannin County
A son of Wilson and his third wife Rosanna from Jackson County, Alabama. He is 39 AL, Mamie 28 TN, Munford or Manford 6 TX, Ethel 3 TX and Vergie 1 TX. Vergie, a daughter will not make 1920.
JUD (DAVID JUDSON) PUTMAN Fannin County
David Judson is a son of Wilson from Jackson County, Alabama. He is now 41 AL and it seems his wife Alice Mitchell has died since the 1900 census. He has the same children, Lillian 15, Inez 11 and Irene 10 all born here in Fannin County, Texas. He will be in Riverside County, California in 1920 as will Inez. Lillian will be married to Will Knight.

Lorenzo and Kate's son has moved from Hunt County. He is now 37 MS, Sarah Miller 36 TX, Willie 15, Lula 9, Pearl 7 and Louis 3 all kids born TX.

He is 39 IL VT VT, Gertrude Duddles his wife 38 IL ENG ENG, Ernest 10 IL and Esther 3 IL. He is a son of Anthony Putnam and Ann Kendall from Lake County Illinois. He was born there and married Gertrude there June 24, 1893. They were there in 1900. I don’t find them in 1920. They are in Shelby County Iowa in 1925 and 1930. New England folks.

He is 26, a son of John and Sarah Jane Putman from Shackleford County, Texas. He was home with his widowed mom in Gonzales County in 1900, but I don't find Sarah now in 1910. He will soon be marrying Willie Frances Parsley.

He is John M. Putman, the eldest son of Wilson Putman from Jackson County, Alabama. He has moved from Fannin County. He is now 48 AL, Ida Smith 39 AL (FL), Arthur 19 TX, Lula 17 TX, Ora 15 OK, Posey a son 15 OK, Thelma 6 TX, Holley 2 TX and Ralph 7 months (Sept. 1909) TX. John and the family will be in Clark County, Arkansas in 1920 and in Oklahoma City by 1930.

She is 36 IL, widowed and the sister of Dixon Pasky. Her mother Mary Pasky is here too. Then there are a bunch of kids including Carlton Putman 7/12 TX US US.

She is 38 TX and living with her mother Phoebe Hargraves. She is a mulatto, her mother a black.

He is Morris' son from Alabama. He is 78 AL and living with his daughter Maggie 27 TX and her husband Albert Shilling. Also there is his son David Judson’s daughter Lillie May 16 TX. She is also shown with Jud back in Fannin County.
RUFUS PUTMAN
Grimes County
He is 32 KY and boarding. He is a son of Rufus Putnam and Emma Howard from Louisville, Kentucky. He was there in 1880 at age 2 and then off on his way here I guess in 1900. He was born in Louisville January 9, 1878 and will be back there and die on October 30, 1934. I don’t find him anywhere in 1920 or 1930.

He was listed as Owen here in 1900. He is 56 IL (stated IN in 1900 which is correct), Mary Eddy his wife 48 WV, Constance 20 TX, Benjamin 17 TX, Donald (listed as John in 1900) 14 TX, Mabel 11 TX and John C. 6 TX. Owen married Mary E. Eddy here in Hamilton County on February 10, 1880. He is Stephan Carlos Putnam's son. Dad was from Hanover, New Hampshire.
W. H. (WALTER HAROLD) PUTNAM Hamilton County
He is 24 TX IL VA and rooming with T. N. Baker, his cousin. He is a son of Owen and Mary Putnam from here. He was born September 16, 1885 and will die here in January 1974. He is married to Beatrice Turner here in 1920 (but not indexed) and 1930.

He is 39 MI, Mary 33 KY, Agnes E. 16 OK, Myrtle C. 12 OK, Ozena (Listed Azelina in 1920) 6 months OK. They were in Greer County, Oklahoma in 1900 and will be in Jackson County, Oklahoma in 1920. Guess they liked that state better than Texas.

He is 25 and a brother in law of James Cotton. He is James Walter Putman, a son of Henry J. Putman who was here in 1900. His dad has died and his mother lives nearby, in fact he is also listed with her under his middle name Walter.

She is Oma Wilson, the widow of Henderson J. Putman. She is 48 TN and still has Logan 29 TN and James Walter 27 TN at home. They are from Moore County, Tennessee.

He is 32 TX, Irene 20 TX. In 1920 he will be in Walker County with a younger wife Ida and a daughter. He is a son of John M. and Fanny Putman from Caldwell County where he was born. He was in Hill County in 1900 when he was with his folks.

By 1930 he is also back in Houston and both say they are widowed then. Too embarrassed to say they were divorced I guess. Paul is married in 1930. He just pops up in Black Hawk County Iowa in 1870 at age 1 OH with his mother Cassie who had remarried A. J. Cashman. No idea on his dad except I think he was from New York.

Still at home are Fannie 26 (should be 29) and Mary 23 (she is really 31). Everyone was born in LA. He will die in the next few years and Pauline and Fanny will still be here in 1920.

He is 50 IN, Jennie Workman his wife 56 OH. No children with them. Joseph Newton is a son of Edwin G. Putnam and his second wife Sarah Oswald. He was born in Wells County Indiana on December 25, 1857. He moved with his folks to Jasper County, Iowa (1870) to Clay County, Kansas (1880) to Garfield County, Oklahoma (1900) and now here. By 1920 he will be near his son Edwin in Nevada, Story County Iowa, and then Osage, Bourbon County Kansas by 1930. Then they will go up into Washington State. He was murdered there in Natches, Washington October 7, 1932. The family goes back from Joseph > Edwin > Newton > to Ezra Putnam of Cavendish, Vermont > Massachusetts and so forth.

The family was in Upseur County in 1870 and here in Hopkins County in 1880, but I cannot find a listing for them in 1900. At any rate, Howard is 68 GA, Fannie (Sophronia Manly) 58 TX, Julia L. 37 TX, Manley 26 TX, and the girl listed as the wife of Dozier Thornton is their daughter Maggie B. 39 TX. The other children of Howard are Andrew Lee (listed in Jones County, Texas) and Charles W. who I don't seem to find this census.

He is 36 (should be 30) AL, Maude 35 (should be 25) AL and they have Pauline 6 TX. He married Maud Florence Brewster in St. Clair County, Alabama on September 21, 1902. They will be be in Tarrant County, Texas in 1920. He is a son of Joel and Malinda. In 1900 he is single near Malinda in St. Clair County. Since his birth falls in that damn 'Black Hole' of 1880-1900, I just cannot pin him down. As of now, I put him as Joel's youngest son. In this census, there is a Francis Putman in Tarrant County with a Pauline age 8 with him or her. Joel also had a son Francis (the right age) who drops out of sight in 1900. Who knows.

He was born in Augusta, Iowa September 28, 1843. He married Martha Shaffer October 19, 1881 in Sheldon, Barton County, Missouri. He is a poultry farmer. It appears they never had children that I can locate. I don’t find them in 1920, but she is widowed here in 1930 at age 87.

He is a son of John Cornelius Putman and his second wife, Nancy Halstead, and was born in Brandon, Muskegon County, Michigan. The family went to Oklahoma in the land rush. John died there in 1906. This is another Dutch family from Montgomery County, New York originally.

He is 22 TX and the son in law of John Gideon, his wife Florence Belle Gideon 22 MO is here too. He was here in 1900 with his mother Nannie. He is a son of Joseph Worth Putman and Nancy Jane Neal. His dad, Joseph, was a writer and reporter and was always on the move and never appeared in any census reports as an adult. He was shown with his folks, William J. Putman and Martha Ann Hampton in De Kalb County Alabama in 1869 and Walker County Georgia in 1870. I only have his family as handed down by a relative. Real mystery guy.
JOE B. PUTMAN

Joseph Barnett Putman is a son of John B. and Frances Putman from Jackson County, Alabama. He has been here since the early 1880s. He is now 56 AL and still widowed. Margaret Flanagan his wife died here in 1899. His kids at home are Myrtle 24, Lillie 20 and Viola 15, all the kids are born TX. Several of his brothers live here in Fort Worth too.

She is still widowed here with the same three children. She was married to John Jacob Putman from Ohio. She is now 64 VT, John J. (3rd) 36 WI, William C. 33 TX, and Worth B. 25 TX. The family was originally part of the Hampshire County, Virginia family.

She has been here since the 1890s or earlier. She is Nancy Jane Neal, Joe Worth Putman's widow. She is now 53 TN, Lillian 30 TX a daughter and her son listed as Browning 12 TX. Then there are Stella 25 TX, Lonnie 22 TX (actually the name is Alonzo Neal Putman) and Josie 19 TX.

Richard Perry is still here as is his mom. He is single and 38 AL, Elizabeth Williamson Putman is 70 AL and he has an aunt, Mattie C. Phillips 58 AL with him. He will be married in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1920.
He is 35 AL AL AL and a butcher. His wife Kate is 27 TX. They have been married 8 years and have John 7 TX and Annie 3 TX. His brothers Will and Fred are here too. They are all sons of John and Frances Putman from Jackson County Alabama. They were all here in 1900.
Will is 45 AL and single and Fred is 38 AL and single. They live with their brother Joseph Putman here in town.

Bartlett 41 TN, Mahlan H. a son 20, Nina A. 15, Carl T. 12, Bonita 9, Paccy a daughter 8, Robert E. 5, Worth B. 4, Helen M. 2 and Oren P. 2 months, all born TX. They will be here in 1920.

He is John Owen Putman a son of William Jeremiah Putman from Scott County, Mississippi. He was in Williamson County, Texas in 1900. He is 39 MS, Jennie A. 41 MS, Eula L. 16, Jewell E. 13, Merthia 11, Willie Jane 8 and Ruby 5. All the kids are TX. He will die in Williamson County in 1918.

Roger is 16 TX OH SWITZ and Carl 13 TX OH SWITZ. They are the adopted sons of George D. Hissner 57 TX GERM NY and his wife Martha L. 56 TX NC MS. His brother Carl 13 TX OH SWITZ is here as well. They were in Austin with a family (not this one) as borders in 1900. Roger will be here in 1920 with these two parents, who are not his real folks.
