He is a son of Abram and Mary Putman as shown at home in 1880 in Leslie, Ingham County, Michigan. They were in Jackson County in 1900. They are here in 1910 and in Duluth, Minnesota in 1920 and 1930.
He is 20 WI WI NY and a laborer on the Myers farm. He was here in 1900 with his mother Clara. No idea as to his dad though. He will be with his mom in Chippewa County in 1910
She is 40 WI and married. She is Mary Gaw and was married to Prescott Putnam in De Pere in 1900. Divorced I guess as he married Caroline Wright in 1901 and they are there now and in 1910 and Carrie is widowed by 1920.
She is 18 WI and boarding. Don’t find her in 1900 or 1910. She’s not part of Prescott and Mary’s family.
He is 22 WI. His wife Jennie (Jane Thomas) 21 WI and their son Thomas 1 WI. He is a son of Antone Puttemanns and Margaret Osterman. The family was from Belgium and the grandfather Henry Puttemanns came over here about 1856. He was overlooked in 1900, but they are here in 1910 and will be till he dies in 1953, Jane in 1977.
He is 30 WI NOVA SCOTIA and his wife Molly Johnson is 30 WI DENMARK. They have Merlin or Melvin 5 WI and Priscilla 1 WI. His widowed father Alexander 78 NOVA SCOTIA Is still with them as he was in 1900. His mother Rosanna died in the 1890s. Leslie married Molly here December 21, 1898. They are here through 1930 and longer. New England family originally.
He is 50 NOVA SCOTIA and his wife Caroline Wright 50 WI. Carrie is his second wife, they were married here in 1901. His first wife Mary Gaw is listed earlier in Allouz. He is a son of Alexander and Rosanna Putnam from here and Nova Scotia before that.
He is listed as 23 WI, his wife Jennie 21 WI. They have a son Thomas 1 WI. They live with her folks. This is another misindexed entry and I can’t see it.
She is about 55 SWITZ and widowed. Her daughter Annie 30 WI and her husband Edward Weismiller 33 WI are here as well. By 1910 Annie is here without Eddie. She had married A. G. Putnam in Green County on November 24, 1886. She’ll be here in 1930 at age 80 and Annie will still be here then too.
He is 48 NY NY and divorced. He has his three sons with him. Claude 19 WI, Elmer 14 WI and Frank 10 WI. In 1900 he was in Green Bay with his wife Mary and more kids. I don’t find any of them in 1910, but Mary is in Milwaukee in 1920. He is a son of George and Nancy who are still back in Outagamie County. New York Dutch family.
She is 24 WI single and a teacher. She is a daughter of Wilton Putnam and Dora Park from Waukesha County. She was home with his widowed mother in 1900 and will be married to Henry Otjen and with her in Milwaukee in 1910 and 1920.
She is 39 WI NY and now widowed. She has Frank 20 WI, Arthur 15 WI, Hester 12 WI and Jay a son 8 WI. They were in Barron County in 1900. She was widowed then, and no clue to the dad except he was from Vermont. Probably connected to the family of John Putnam from Vermont and in Chippewa County in 1880. Clara is here with her son Frank in 1910. Arthur is nearby and Hester married by then. In 1920 Clara is with her other son John in Price County.
He is 18 WI WI and working on the Cameron farm. He is a son of Clara Putnam here in town. He will marry a girl named Rose in 1909 and they are in Price County in 1910. They are there in 1920 and Clara is with them. Then John and Rose and their kids are all in Michigan by 1930.
He is 58 WI VT and an insurance Agent. His wife of 35 years Julia Adeline Wells is 56 CAN and they have Archie L. 20 WI, Emmet 30 WI and his wife Alice Keturah Whitman 23 CAN. Emmett and Katurah are also listed in a boarding house here in town. John was born here, a son of William Barron Putnam and Esther Brown from Vermont before that. They are here in 1910. He will die here August 15, 1919, and Addie will be here in 1920.
He is 52 NY NY and a farm laborer. His wife Georgia is 44 WI. He is a son of Henry Putman and Elizabeth Emhoff from Jefferson County, NY and then in Sparta, Monroe County, WI. Dutch family. He will be here till he dies in 1933.
She is 85 NY VT CT and lives with a Neitzel family. She is an unwed daughter of Samuel Putnam (1898) and Zenia Green of Clayton, Jefferson County, NY. She was home in 1860. She was here in 1900 living with her sister Sarah Dunston. She will die here December 27, 1906, hopefully after a nice Christmas.
He is 32 WI NY IL and his wife Anna Metzger is 30 WI GER. He is an engineer. He is a son of Cyrus Putnam and Harriet Sanderson from Green County. He and Annie were here in Mayville, Clark County in 1900 and 1910. They are in Taylor County in 1920.
He is 22 IL, his sister Iva 19 WI, Flora 16 WI and Silas listed as a girl is 14 WI. Actually they were all born in Illinois. They live with their mother Ella 41 IL IRE and her husband William Meeks 46 IL. They were all in Rockton, Winnebago County Illinois in 1900. Their mother is Ella Flynn Putnam who married Omer Putnam there on September 28, 1881. He died in 1898 or 1899, and she just remarried William Meeks in 1900. They are here in Loyal, Clark County Wisconsin in 1910 and 1920. Guy will be in Kansas City Missouri single in 1910 and married there in 1920 and 1930.

He is 54 NY NY and now an invalid. His wife Amanda Paulina Nokes is 50 NY NY and at home are Russell H. 24 WI NY and Lila M. 15 WI NY. John Putman is a son of Henry Putman and Elizabeth Emhoff from Jefferson County New York and then in Sparta, Monroe County Wisconsin. Dutch family.
He is 32 WI, his brother Ezra 45 WI and his mother Eliza (listed wrongly as Ida) is 60 WI. Mom was widowed in Dodge County with the kids in 1860 and 1870 and here since. They are around in 1910, and the kids through 1930.
He is 25 IL NY single and boarding. He is a son of William and Catherine Putnam. He was 9 months old in 1880 with them in Plano, Kendall County Illinois. New York Dutch Family.

is the son of Alfred Putnam and Mary Ackerman. He was with them in Eaton
County, Michigan in 1870 and here in Sheboygan in 1880. They are here in 1905
through 1920.
He is a lineman 29 WI MA. His wife Dorothy C. Pierson is 29 WI DEN. They have Robert J. 7 WI. He is a son of Alexander and Rosanna Putnam from De Pere, Brown County. Dorothy was there with Robert in 1900. They are all here through 1920. Young Robert is married by 1930.
She is 46 WI VA OH and her daughter Mary is 20 ND. She has a nephew Victor Frame 4 WI. In 1910 she calls him an adopted son, and then a nephew again in 1920. Ruth Calloway was married to George Henry Putnam here through 1900. He was a son of George W. Putnam and Martha Rebecca Brewer, and was in Richland County in 1880. He and Ruth were married in Crawford County December 25, 1883. Ruth says she is married, but from here on she is on her own so I assume they split up. She is here through 1920.
He is now 58 NY NY NY, and Emma Andrews Smith 58 NY and their son Arthur 14 WI. They have been here married for 35 years now. He is a son of John and Catherine Putnam from here in Oregon. He’s been here since he was 3 years old. They are here in 1910 and Emma is widowed here by 1920.
She is 29 WI, Ensor 9 WI and Gladys 6 WI. Anna Johanna Nelson is the widow of Orson Andrew Putman. They were married September 6, 1893. Orson died here July 6, 1899 leaving her widowed. She had these kids with her in 1900. She still lives with her folks Carl 66 NORWAY and Maria 72 NOR Nelson. Ensor is married here in 1920. Guess Annie got remarried by then too.
He is 41 IL UN UN, Lucretia Catherine Johnson, his wife of 17 years, is 36 CAN, Hubert A. 16 WI, Phyllis M. 5 WI, Edgar D. 2 WI. He is a liveryman and has a domestic servant. He is a son of John and Sarah Putman and was with them here in 1880. He was born back in Aurora, Kane County Illinois February 5, 1864. He and Lucretia were married here March 29, 1887 and here in the 1900 census. They are here in 1910. He will die May 22, 1917, and Lucretia will be widowed in Chicago, Illinois in 1920 living with her son Hubert and his wife Ella.
He is 36 WI WI and a chief clerk in the Railroad office. His wife Clara Brown 40 WI and they have Isla 11 WI, Emmett O. 8 WI and Ina M. 5 WI. They also have a second listing with the ages a couple of years older. He is a son of John B. and Addie Putnam, and was at home with them in Auburn, Chippewa County in 1880. He married Clara here on October 11, 1892. They are here still in 1910, and then in Colusa County California by 1920 through 1930 and I am sure longer.

He is 73 NY NY NY and his wife Jane Balcom is 72 NY NY NY. He has three servants living with him. He is a son of Hamilton Putman and Jeanette Cleveland from Cortland, Cortland County, New York. He has been here since the 1850s. He will be widowed here in 1910 and gone by 1920.
He is 64 CAN CAN NY and works in a creamery. His wife Lydia Dulcia Wheeler is 57 WI and their son James is 12 WI. He is a son of William Putnam and Rachel Scott and was born in Prince Edward County Canada January 15, 1841. They were in Fennimore, Grant County in 1900 and are here in 1910. New England family originally, and the name should be spelled Putnam.
She is 69 OH widowed as she has been. She was married to Hiram Putnam through 1880. She is here in 1910. She married Hiram back in Licking County, Ohio before the whole gang moved up here. Hiram was a son of John Jacob Putman and Magdalena Fleck. Been here since the 1840s. German family from Hampshire County Virginia, and then Licking County Ohio where he was born.
He is listed with no age WI NY. He is president of a bank. He has Ida Eugene with him as he did in 1900. She is a servant and was 26 then and is 26 now. Oh well. He is a son of John Jacob Putman and Magdalena Fleck. Been here since the 1840s. German family from Hampshire County, Virginia and then Licking County, Ohio where he was born. Been here for ages.
She is 69 NH NH. She says she is married but lives alone. Can’t find her earlier anywhere.
He is listed in Brooklyn, Green County but was in Rock County in 1900 and will be in 1910, so this may be a bad index. He is 42 WI, his wife Cora Calvert is 39 WI and Raymond 13 WI, Bernard 12 WI and Louis 3 WI. He was here in 1900 and they are all here in 1910. He is a son of Lafayette and Melissa Putman and was at home with them in Sheboygan County in 1870.
She is 42 WI. She is boarding and says she is widowed. She was here in 1900 and will be in 1910 and says she is divorced then. Not sure as to her ex-husband. He might be Selim’s son Edwin who is missing in this census. Edwin will be back with his folks in 1910 though.
He is 72 VT and retired. His wife Gertrude E. Towne is 58 OH. He’s been here since the 1850s. Gertrude is his second wife. They were married here July 4, 1890. He’s Leander and Martha’s son from Washington County, Vermont. They are here in 1910.
24 WI NY single and a clerk in a hardware store. He was single in Dane County in 1900 and will be here in 1910. He will be married here by 1920. He is a son of Isaac Harper Putnam and Emma Smith from Oregon, Dane County.
He is about 43 CT MA ENG, single and boarding. Also can’t find him in Connecticut in 1870.
He is 40 WI ENG, his wife Anna C. Reed 40 WI and they have Jimmie 12 WI, Jennie 10 WI, Charles 7 WI, William 5 WI and Glenn 2 WI. He is a son of Theron and Elizabeth Putnam. He was at home with them here in 1880 and married here in 1900. They are here in 1910 and 1920. Dutch family from New York State.
She is 38 WI and widowed. She has Edna 13 WI, Roy 6 WI and Merle 3 WI. Fannie Louise Stott is the widow of William Putnam. He was a son of Theron and Elizabeth Putnam. He was home with them here in 1870 and 1880. They were here in 1900. Her folks John and Sarah Stott live next door or probably she is in their house. She is still widowed here with her mom in 1910 and 1920.
He is now 72 NY NY. His wife Elizabeth Hem is 67 WI TN. They were here since 1860. He’s a son of Lewis and Abigail Putman from Cayuga County, New York. Lewis was a son of Jacob Putman and Sarah Osterhoudt from Montgomery County NewYork. Dutch Family.
He is 77 NY NY. His wife Angie M. is 61 MA and her daughter Elenor Rounds is 26 MA. Angie is widowed here in 1910 and Elenore’s name is Houghton then. Anyway, he was single here in 1900 and that was the first time I have seen him in ages. He is son of William Witt Putnam and Philena Buck of Bethel, Windsor County, Vermont. His wife Sophia has died in the late 1800s.
He is 37 WI VT and a mail carrier. His wife Vernetta M. is 35 WI and they have James Leslie 11 WI. He is a son of George Washington Putnam and Martha Rebecca Brewer. The family was in Wallingford, Rutland County, Vermont in 1850 and then here in Dane County by 1860. Israel was at home in Richland County in 1880, and married there in 1900. They are here now through 1930 at least.
He is listed as 2 WI a grandson of George S. Putman and Leora DeLine. George and Leora are from McHenry County Illinois and are back there now.
He is a shoemaker 24 WI WI and his wife Annie Ohl is 22 WI GER. They have Helen 6/12 WI. He is a son of Albert and Agnes Putman. He was at home with them in Milwaukee in 1900. He married Anna here March 28, 1903. They are in Jefferson County in 1910. They are in Milwaukee in 1920 and 1930.
He is 66 NH NH and boarding. He is an Agent for something. He looks like George Putnam, son of George Putnam and Elizabeth Perkins of Charlestown, NH. He and his wife Emily Alice Jackson were in Pottawattamie County Iowa in 1900.
He is 57 WI NY MA and his brand new wife Mollie Claymier 32 WI GER. They were married here May 14, 1903. They are here in 1910 and 1920 too. He is a son of Aaron and Maria Putnam from New York. He was born in Racine, Racine County. He was married to Ida here in 1880, and widowed in 1900. He works for the railroad, as he has for many years.
He is 24 GER GER and says he is married but lives alone. He did marry Etta Lathrop. Also found the marriage record of December 24, 1904 here in Milwaukee. They are here in 1910 and 1920.
He is 19 WI WI and is a telegraph operator. His widowed mother Agnes 47 GER and sister Lillian 7 WI are with him. He was here with his folks Albert and Agnes in 1900. He is single here in 1910 and married by 1920. Albert was a son of Lafayette and Melissa Putman from Sheboygan County. Lafe was a son of Aaron Putman from Cayuga County NY, and Montgomery County before that. Dutch family.

Martha’s sisters Ruth Ellis 21 SD and Evelyn Ellis 17 MI are with them. He is a son of Robert W. and Julia Putnam and was born in Leavenworth, Kansas and has been here since the 1880s. He is a store manager. They are in Minneapolis by 1920 and his widowed mother Julia will be with them.

She is 80 MA MA and still widowed as she was in 1900. In 1880 was married to William Barron Putnam a clergyman from Vermont. She is still here in 1910 at age 85.
He is a single male age 12 born in Stockbridge. He is an Indian on a reservation. His sister Nellie age 14 is on the same reservation. Fred is a son of Stephen Putnam and his first wife Caroline Wheeler from Winnebago County, Illinois. He was there in 1870, and then I lose him in 1880. They are married in Chickasaw County Iowa though in 1900. Della’s family was there in 1900 too. That’s where they met and married. They are kids of Fred and Della Putnam. Della is Indian and a daughter of John Hamilton Putman. John’s wife Basheba was a full blooded Indian. John Putman is Dutch from New York State. Fred is a New Englander. They are in Shawano County in 1910, which is a large Indian Territory.
He is 56 NY NY and his wife Margaret Jane Brooks is 55 OH OH. At home still are Ira 17 WI, Earl 13 WI and Florence 9 WI. He is a son of Isaac Putman and Mary Duel. Isaac is a son of Solomon Putman and Margaret Walrath. Dutch family from Jefferson County New York. Margaret will die here in 1907, and George will marry Mary Dinger here in Sparta around 1910, and they will be in Washington County, Oregon by the 1920 census. Mary was married to his cousin Isaac Van Rensselaer Putman who died here in 1908.
He is Isaac Van Rensselaer Putman 76 NY NY, his second wife Mary C. Dinger 45 GER and Nora 19 WI. He is a son of Henry Putman and Elizabeth Emhoff from Jefferson County, NY. Basheba was a Stockbridge Mohegan Indian and so Della is Indian as well. John Hamilton is on the Dutch line and is here in the County now. Fred and the family were in Butler County Iowa in the 1895 State Census and Chickasaw County Iowa in 1900. They are here in Shawano County in 1910, 1920 and 1930.

They were here in 1900 and will be in 1910. Eliza will be widowed here in 1920.

They are in Providence, Rhode Island in 1910 and then in Crawford County Pennsylvania in 1920.

They have Arthur 10 WI, Leon 8 WI, George W. 5 WI and Gordon L. (Lawrence) 3/12 WI. He is a son of George Washington Putnam and Martha Brewer from Rutland, County, Vermont. They were in Richland County back in 1860. He was married to Lillie in Dodge County in 1900. She will die and he will marry Evelyn L. Ward in December 1918 here in Wisconsin. He and Evelyn will be in Dewey County, South Dakota in 1920. Arthur will have his own family there then. The son George will be in the Army at Fort Dix in New Jersey in 1920. They are all in Hughes County South Dakota in 1930.
