If you refer back to the section on ILLINOIS PUTMANS you will see that Daniel Bennett Putman, a son of Hazeal Putman, left Fulton County in the 1830s for Henderson County and then in May of 1846 joined the Buell Wagon Train in Iowa and headed to Oregon Territory.
