There were several 'extra' censuses in the first half of the 1900s. Hawaii and Alaska were Territories as was the Panama Canal, Guam and so on. There were separate censuses for the Military & Naval, Consular Service. Not a lot of Putnams or Putmans were included, but here they are for what it's worth.
